The beautiful luxury 4 Star Thistle Hyde Park Hotel dates from Victorian times, with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of a Pall Mall private-member’s club. A refined, intimate building, it is an elegant hotel setting but a comfortable base from which to enjoy the nearby West End, Oxford Street and Mayfair.

The luxury 4 star Thistle Hotel Hyde Park is one of the few Victorian hotels in London that has maintained its unique traditional presence and features within the Bayswater area. We have been proud to retain the refined features of this intimate building, with the old and the new blending seamlessly in our 54 luxury bedrooms.
The same intimacy extends to our conference facilities. London is full of soulless venues; here, we have three elegant, comfortable meeting rooms. With superb views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, we’re also a very popular wedding and party venue.
London is not much fun in a car, but we have limited on-site car parking available at an additional charge. Not that you really need a car anyway; many of the best things to do in London are all near the Hotel – the West End’s theatres, Oxford Street and Mayfair - are all within walking distance.

Jonathan Miller's simple and stylish production of Mozart's last collaboration with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte, Così fan tutte returns to Covent Garden. Julia Jones, making her Royal Opera debut, conducts.
A selection of paintings, drawings and rarely seen sculptures by one of America's pivotal artists of the 20th century are on show at Tate Modern's exhibition, Arshile Gorky: A Retrospective. Gorky (c.1904-1948) was powerful in the formation of Abstract Expressionism.
David Alden's striking English National Opera production of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor returns to the London Coliseum. This first revival reunites many of the original cast: Anna Christy, Barry Banks, Clive Bayley, Sarah Pring and Dwayne Jones. Antony Walker conducts.
