Thistle Bloomsbury Park is the perfect base from which to explore Bloomsbury’s famous formal squares and gardens. Within walking distance of the British Museum and Covent Garden, our traditional Edwardian hotel blends effortlessly into this elegant and historic district.
Bloomsbury has long been a magnet for writers and thinkers. Famous former residents include Darwin, Dickens, John Keynes and Bob Marley. The composer laureate, Sir John Barbirolli was born in the Hotel in 1899. With its formal squares and gardens, it’s also a perfect spot for a weekend break.
At Thistle Bloomsbury Park we have 95 bedrooms, including interconnecting and Family rooms. While we have no dedicated meeting rooms, our Cellar Bar is available for private hire for dining and receptions for up to 70 guests, making it an ideal party or wedding venue. In London, parking is never easy, but there’s public parking available nearby at an additional charge.
