• Room service is available to all our guests, 24 hours a day. We offer a wide range of meals and drinks; please see the menu in your room.

• If you’re travelling to Thistle Johor Bahru by car, we have parking available on-site; you can park overnight for just £8. Please note there’s a height restriction of 1.9m! There’s also an NCP car park nearby.

Colours of Malaysia
Citrawarna (Colours of Malaysia) celebrates the country's unique spectrum of cultures. The main launch takes place at Kuala Lumpur's Dataran Merdeka. Expect spectacular traditional performances, colourful parades and magnificent arts and crafts.
Masters Football Malaysia Cup
Masters Football visits Asia for the Masters Football Malaysia Cup at Kuala Lumpur's Putra Stadium. In previous years, teams such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Sheffield United have competed against an EPL All-Stars team for the title.
Penang Dragon Boat Festival
During the Penang Dragon Boat Festival teams race beautifully painted boats with dragons-head prows on the Teluk Bahang Dam. To urge them on drums are pounded and crowds roar from the riverbank.
Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition
Public performances, drum battles and parades take place on the streets of Kuala Lumpur in the Kuala Lumpur World Marching Band Competition. Participants from over 12 countries compete for the top prize of US$10,000.
Vesak

Celebrated on the May full moon, Vesak is the most auspicious day in the Buddhist calendar, marking the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha. Celebrations take place before dawn in temples all over Malaysia.
