Fashion In The Mirror, London, September
From now until September dedicated followers of fashion will be making their way to the capital for an exhibition of photographs which promises to lift the lid on this glamorous industry
At the Photographer's Gallery until September 14th the Fashion In The Mirror exhibition is displaying a total of 21 industry snappers' work.
The shots of Nick Knight, Richard Avedon and Norman Parkinson will be on display, documenting changes in style from the 50s to the present day.
Perhaps best of all, many of the photographs are of the industry in process rather than glossy stills of models after they have been airbrushed.
The Daily Telegraph newspaper commends the exhibition for providing fashionistas with a chance to get a glimpse behind the camera lens.
"[It] exposes some of the off-frame drama that happens in the process of creating a fashion image. And not before time," says the paper.
The Photographers' Gallery is London's largest public space dedicated to this art form and showcases the emerging talents as well as established artists and historical archives.
Fashion fans can stay at Thistle London, which with online price check and booking facilities, couldn't be easier.

Red Bull Flugtag, Hyde Park, June 7th
The saying Red Bull gives you wings will take on a new meaning at an event in London this summer.
On June 7th at 13:00 BST dare-devil pilots of homemade flying devices will enter their contraptions in the Red Bull Flugtag.
The event will see over 40 teams launch their man-powered machines off a 20-foot ramp "as far and high as possible", over Hyde Park's Serpentine Lake.
Judges will then be looking out for how far the flying machines travel before committing themselves to the lake's chilly waters.
Points will also be awarded to entrants for the level of creativity that has gone into their inventions.
Names of teams that have submitted entries so far include 'The Cheesy Loafs', 'Extreme Trifle' and 'The Bearded Brides and The Cheesy Loafs'.
Those who wish to witness this spectacle should register for the ticket ballot at www.redbullflugtag.co.uk.
Only 80,000 tickets are available for the event, so those who wish to catch a glimpse of the wacky contraptions in action are urged to hurry up and register.

Hairspray, London, Ongoing
Musical fans will be piling their hair high up on their heads and making their way to London this summer for the irresistible 60s-themed show Hairspray.
The play, which opened last October, has received rave reviews from the press and is now well into its run at Shaftesbury Theatre in London.
With the venue only taking bookings up to October 2008 for the musical, which runs until April 2009, those hoping to get a slice of the action would be well advised to book early.
