I’m Lorna and I am the Bars Manager at Thistle Glasgow. Having worked my way up through the ranks over the seven years I’ve been with Thistle, I know how important it is to provide customers with excellent customer service and thrive on exceeding their expectations.

Being given the opportunity to manage the bars at the biggest banqueting hotel in Scotland is definitely my biggest achievement. From preparing for events to overseeing staffing and stock ordering, I love everything about my role. I get to meet so many different people and the hours are actually really sociable, despite what some may think.

When I’m not busy at work, I like to play tennis, bake and spend quality time with my friends and family.
