  • Poole Pottery - 0.3 Miles

    Located just 50 metres from the hotel this venue is world famous for its pottery collection. When you visit, not only can you can see pottery being made and hand painted by the Master Potters, you can also have a go yourself.

  • Poole Museum - 0.4 Miles

    The rich history of the ancient town is revealed in four floors of galleries in a 19th century warehouse, including great interactive displays for children. The highlights include the Iron-age Poole lifeboat.

  • Poole Lighthouse - 0.6 Miles

    Take in a show or concert at the largest arts centre outside London, producing a year round programme of national and international events. The centre is also home to the enchanting Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

  • Brownsea Island - 2.4 Miles

    Situated opposite the Hotel, in the centre of Poole Harbour, is Brownsea Island. Over 100 hectares of wildlife, including peacock, herons and, of course, the famous red squirrels.

  • Sandbanks Beach - 2.4 Miles

    Definitely one of the premier beaches in the UK and Europe, Sandbanks is one of the best places to go to relax all-year round. Great facilities and activities, including mini-golf and taking a ride on the road train.

  • RNLI HQ - 0.4 Miles

    Poole is home to the RNLI Headquarters and Training College where lifesavers train for sea rescues. The College Discovery Tour which runs for two hours is a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity to see how the volunteer crews and lifeguards are trained.
