  • New London Theatre - 1.5 Miles

    Although this site has been an entertainment venue since at least the mid-19th century, the New London Theatre only opened its doors in 1973, making it one of the West End's newest theatres. It is currently showing War Horse.

  • The Dominion Theatre - 0.9 Miles

    A huge theatre which plays host to big, rocking musicals and is currently showing We Will Rock You. The Dominion has a huge stage and hundreds of seats - on a packed night here noise levels are like those at a rock concert.

  • Grant Museum of Zoology - 0.4 Miles

    Is the only remaining university zoological museum in London. It houses around 67,000 specimens, covering the whole Animal Kingdom. Many of the species are now endangered or extinct including the Tasmanian Tiger or Thylacine, the Quagga and the Dodo.

  • Pollocks Toy Museum - 0.6 Miles

    Takes its name from Benjamin Pollock, the last of the Victorian Toy Theatre printers. Set up by Marguerite Fawdry who bought up the stock of Benjamin Pollock Ltd., after trying to buy one small item for her son’s toy theatre.

  • Sherlock Holmes Museum - 1.6 Miles

    The literary sleuth and Doctor John H. Watson lived at 221b Baker Street, which is now protected by the government due to its "special architectural and historical interest". The first floor study overlooking Baker Street is still faithfully maintained for posterity as it was kept in.
