Road
From Hyde Park Corner drive along Piccadilly to Piccadilly Circus, at the roundabout take the 4th exit into the Haymarket. At the end of Haymarket, turn left into Pall Mall and the second left into Whitcomb Street. The Royal Trafalgar is situated 100 yards on the right-hand side.
Rail
Charing Cross Station, Euston Station, Victoria Station are all within 2 miles. Arriving at any London mainline rail station, take the underground to either Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly or Bakerloo lines) or Leicester Square (Northern or Piccadilly lines). Follow signs to Leicester Square and then the National Gallery and that will bring you into Whitcomb Street. The Royal Trafalgar hotel is on the left hand side. The nearest underground station is either Piccadilly or Leicester Square. Both are only a 4 minute walk away from the hotel.
Air
From Heathrow Airport (17 miles), take the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly Circus. The Royal Trafalgar is only a four minute walk away. From Gatwick Airport (34 miles), take the Gatwick Express to Victoria station. Thereafter take the underground, Victoria line north to Green Park. Change for the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly Circus. The hotel is a 4 minute walk away.

What's on?
John Copley comes to the Royal Academy of Music to direct Royal Academy of Opera in Benjamin Britten's Suffolk comedy Albert Herring. Nicholas Kok conducts alternating casts of young singers who may be the opera stars of tomorrow.
Handel's Tamerlano comes to the Royal Opera. Dutch mezzo Christianne Stotjin stars in the title role, while tenor Kurt Streit replaces an indisposed Plácido Domingo as Bajazet in all performances.
Director David Alden followed his award-winning ENO production of Janácek's Jenufa with Lucia di Lammermoor (both productions subsequently revived) and an ecstatically received Peter Grimes. He now returns to Janácek for a new production, Katya Kabanova, conducted by Mark Wigglesworth.
Kenneth MacMillan's acclaimed production of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, premièred in February 1965 with Fonteyn and Nureyev, returns to the Royal Ballet's repertoire at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Boris Gruzin conducts.
Jonathan Miller's New York City Opera production of Donizetti's frothy Elixir of Love comes to the London Coliseum for the first time. Pablo Heras-Casado makes his British opera debut in the pit.
