  • Loch Ness - 18.9 Miles

    By volume, this is the largest loch in the country - by legend, it’s the most famous lake in the world. The Legend of "Nessie" or the "Loch Ness Monster" brings high numbers of visitors to the area every year. Loch Cruises are available and a visit to the magnificent Urquhart Castle a must.

  • Culloden Moor and Visitor Centre - 8.5 Miles

    Visiting Culloden takes on a whole new meaning when you visit the exciting new visitor centre and interactive exhibition. The battlefield itself is now restored, and the new centre and exhibition allows the whole Culloden story to be told in an innovative and interactive way which appeals to all the family.

  • Culloden Battlefield - 7.2 Miles

    The site of the historic 1746 battle between the Duke of Cumberland and Prince Charles.   • Fort George - 12.2 Miles

    Fort George is the mightiest artillery fortification in Britain and just a short drive from the hotel. Its garrison buildings, artillery defences bristling with cannon, and superb collection of arms - including bayoneted muskets, pikes, swords and ammunition pouches - provide a fascinating insight into 18th century military life.
