Camanachd Cup Final
The prestigious Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup is shinty's blue riband event and the final, in 2010 at Inverness' Bught Park, is often a spectacular battle. Due to the prestigious nature of the final, the celebrations are well worth participating in.
City of Inverness Highland Games
Inverness Highland Games, returning to Northern Meeting Park in 2010 after more than half a century, is one of Scotland's oldest traditional summer games. It's a compendium of what can be done in kilts, from "heavy" sports to Scottish dancing and bagpiping.
Inverness Tattoo

Predating Cornwall's Eden project by some ten years, Inverness' Floral Hall - opened in 1993 - is a multi award-winning display of exotic flora enclosed under climatically-controlled glass houses.
