Leave the M6 at Junction 23 and follow signs to Haydock Park Racecourse onto the A49 North towards Ashton-in-Makerfield. Once on the A49, take the first left, go under the bridge and take the next left into the Thistle Haydock entrance. We have 210 car parking spaces available free of charge. Manchester International Airport is 18 miles from Thistle Haydock. Take the M56 from the airport, then join the M6 (signposted Preston). Leave the M6 at junction 23 and follow the road directions above.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about 20 miles from Thistle Haydock. From the airport, follow signs for Knowlsey Express Way, then take the A580 towards Manchester, to pick up the A49 North towards Ashton-in-Makerfield and follow the road directions above.

The Liverpool Mile
The Liverpool Mile sees thousands of people don their running shoes at the ACC Liverpool for Sport Relief. All ages and abilities can take part to raise money for charity. Three distances are on offer - one, three or six miles.
