What's on?
Killerton, an 18th-century house in Exeter, contains a collection of 18th to 20th-century costumes as well as a Victorian laundry. Check out what fashion was like in the olden days and be grateful that corsets are no longer everyday attire!
Exeter's Autumn Festival provides regional artists and performers with a platform from which to showcase their work. The programme includes music, visual arts, sports and film - all with a local focus - and pops up throughout the city's venues.
Animated Exeter screens around 140 animated films and stages an exciting programme of workshops, exhibitions and other events throughout the city of Exeter. The ten-day programme ranges from new features to classic shorts.
The Exeter Record & CD Fair, held six times a year, attracts collectors and dealers from all over the country. St George's Hall fills with CDs, tapes, records and memorabilia covering all kinds of recorded music.
As much an occasion for the audience to perform as for the choir, CarolSing has become a favourite at Exeter's St David's Church in the run-up to Christmas. It is led by Nigel Perrin, one of England's top choral conductors.
