Bustling Aberdeen Country Fair takes place in the city centre every first and last Saturday of the month and specialises in the finest local produce. There's everything here from Aberdeen Angus beef and fresh locally landed fish to whisky, wines, homemade confectionary and handicrafts.
Head down to Aberdeen's Belmont St and the Academy Shopping Centre for this monthly street market, where around 20,000 punters come to feast their eyes on local produce, delicacies and goodies.
Aberdeen's Highland Games, held in Hazlehead Park, offers a rich programme of events and competitions showcasing the skills of sportspeople, dancers and musicians from all over Scotland.
