The Rubislaw Suite is our main Ballroom and the largest of rooms available, accommodating 350 delegates theatre style.

Its neutral décor and natural daylight make this a pleasant, airy, relaxing environment to hold your function or meeting. Its size and position makes it ideal for exhibitions, conferences, product launches or larger corporate events. And its central ground floor location makes it convenient for delegates.

The Suite can be subdivided into the Craigenlow and Kemnay Suites, making it suitable for smaller functions.

Aberdeen Country Fair
Head down to Aberdeen's Belmont St and the Academy Shopping Centre for this monthly street market, where around 20,000 punters come to feast their eyes on local produce, delicacies and goodies.

International Street Market
Aberdeen's Union Terrace hosts regular International Street Markets, attracting 120,000 visitors to the city centre. Around 70 stalls offer food, crafts and gardening supplies alongside fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, spices and plants.

City of Aberdeen Highland Games
Aberdeen's Highland Games, held in Hazlehead Park, offers a rich programme of events and competitions showcasing the skills of sportspeople, dancers and musicians from all over Scotland. The traditional "heavy" events - caber tossing, hammer-hurling and shot-putting - always attract the crowds, especially those who love to see men in kilts!

BBC Scottish Symphony in Aberdeen

The BBC Scottish Symphony's annual Friday night visits to the Aberdeen Music Hall bring both chief conductor Donald Runnicles and guest conductors. There's nothing quite like an orchestra playing at full pelt, or achieving the quietest pianissimo immediately after.

Scottish Opera in Aberdeen
Scottish Opera's second visit to Aberdeen's His Majesty's Theatre this season brings Matthew Richardson's production of Verdi's Rigoletto. Tobias Ringborg conducts Eddie Wade in the title role, Nadine Livingston as Gilda and Edgaras Montvidas as the womanising Duke.
