Thistle Aberdeen Altens by Road:
From the south: follow the A90 then take the A956 signed Aberdeen Harbour at the first roundabout take the first right into Souterhead Road and the hotel is first on the right.
From the city: Follow the signs for the A90 south at the Altens/Cove roundabout take the first left onto Souterhead Road and the hotel is first on the right.
Thistle Aberdeen Altens by Rail:
As you leave Aberdeen Railway Station, turn left. Cross over the bridge and turn left again. Then follow the A956 towards Dundee. At the Altens/Cove roundabout take the first left onto Souterhead Road and the hotel is first on the right.
Taxi from the railway station will cost approximately £12.
Thistle Aberdeen Altens by Airport:
From the airport follow the signs to the City centre, at the Haudagain Roundabout turn right onto the A90 Anderson Drive signed Dundee. Follow this road for around 6 miles and go over the Bridge of Dee and bear left onto Great Southern Road sign posted Altens/Tullos go straight over 2 roundabouts and at the 3rd roundabout (Nigg) turn right onto Wellington road at the Altens/Cove roundabout take the first left onto Souterhead Road and the hotel is first on the right.

Bustling Aberdeen Country Fair takes place in the city centre every first and last Saturday of the month and specialises in the finest local produce. There's everything here from Aberdeen Angus beef and fresh locally landed fish to whisky, wines, homemade confectionary and handicrafts.
Head down to Aberdeen's Belmont St and the Academy Shopping Centre for this monthly street market, where around 20,000 punters come to feast their eyes on local produce, delicacies and goodies.
