Thistle Aberdeen Altens offers its guest’s a range of facilities to help them enjoy there stay. Whether you’re on a strict training program or just looking to let off some steam, our Otium Health & Leisure Club is perfect. You can go for a quick workout, soak away stress in the spa, or do a few lengths in the pool.
Please note our Otium Club will be closed for refurbishment from 15th August to 22nd August. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
In addition we have plenty of free on-site parking for 300 cars and all guests can keep up to date with work or search the internet from anywhere within the hotel thanks to BT Openzone wireless broadband.

What's on?
Bustling Aberdeen Country Fair takes place in the city centre every first and last Saturday of the month and specialises in the finest local produce. There's everything here from Aberdeen Angus beef and fresh locally landed fish to whisky, wines, homemade confectionary and handicrafts.
Head down to Aberdeen's Belmont St and the Academy Shopping Centre for this monthly street market, where around 20,000 punters come to feast their eyes on local produce, delicacies and goodies.
Aberdeen's Highland Games, held in Hazlehead Park, offers a rich programme of events and competitions showcasing the skills of sportspeople, dancers and musicians from all over Scotland. The traditional "heavy" events - caber tossing, hammer-hurling and shot-putting - always attract the crowds, especially those who love to see men in kilts!
One of the highlights of Aberdeen's summer events calendar, the Aberdeen International Football Festival is an opportunity for young boys and girls from around the world to battle it out at the city's Seaton Park.
