What's on?
The World Drums Festival fills Kuala Lumpur's open spaces with percussion and drum music from all over the world, exploring the culture and history of Malaysia while providing energetic entertainment for the whole family.
Citrawarna (Colours of Malaysia) celebrates the country's unique spectrum of cultures. The main launch takes place at Kuala Lumpur's Dataran Merdeka. Expect spectacular traditional performances, colourful parades and magnificent arts and crafts.
The KL Festival is a whole month of Malaysian culture and heritage. Around 50 performances, visual arts, traditional games, and language and literature events entertain locals and tourists all over Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley.
The Grand Ballroom at Kuala Lumpur's Shangri-La Hotel is the stage for the annual Crystal Dancesport Championship. A charity event, the competition is open to countries in the Asia Pacific region and also features Latin dance demonstrations by European finalists.
The Eco Film Fest brings together those interested in climate change and the plight of our planet to learn and exchange ideas. Kuala Lumpur's Palate Palette restaurant and bar hosts screenings of films that have never been shown in Malaysia before.
