MULTI-MILLION POUND REFURBISHMENT COMPLETES AT THE ROYAL TRAFALGAR BY THISTLE
The Royal Trafalgar by Thistle, located in central London has reached an exciting milestone with the completion of the final phase of its multi-million pound investment, which forms part of the rebrand and refurbishment strategy across the group of over 30 UK hotels.
The final phase sees four Junior Suites, 11 Executive King rooms and 12 Deluxe rooms completely modernised with a vibrant colour palette bringing the total number of rooms to 108. As guest experience is paramount to Thistle, rooms have been designed with this in mind to include luxury bathrooms boasting power showers, stylish contemporary furnishings and state of the art technology including plasma TV, iPod docking station and Wi-Fi access throughout.
The investment also incorporates refurbishment to all public areas, including Squares Restaurant and Gravity Bar, creating a contemporary atmosphere for guests to relax in.
The Royal Trafalgar is committed to offering quality service whilst adding value for guests. 2009 has seen the launch of a series of exciting packages based on the room type chosen, which can be purchased at the time of booking or as an upgrade on check in.
The Executive category package now includes access to a local health club with swimming pool during the stay, 20 per cent discount off food and beverage within the hotel, complimentary Wi-Fi access, free newspaper delivered to your room and late check out subject to availability.
Edward Kollmer, General Manager, The Royal Trafalgar by Thistle said: “We strive to offer guests at The Royal Trafalgar an experience that they will remember and the completion of the refurbishment shows our dedication to this experience.”
“Personal service delivered by the team in a warm and efficient manner brings the refurbishment project to life.”
The hotel’s city centre location and close proximity to transport links including Charing Cross Station and Piccadilly and Leicester Square Underground stations makes it an ideal choice for both corporate and leisure guests.
For those with some time to explore the area, the hotel is only minutes away from the busy shopping hub of Oxford and Regents Streets and the lively area of Theatre Land for a musical.
The Royal Trafalgar also offers flexible dining options for guests wanting to relax within the hotel, with a new menu available 24 hours a day.
This flexibility forms part of the enhanced service and quality standards which are being implemented under Thistle’s £100m investment to rebrand its hotels across its portfolio of over 30 hotels in the UK, including the roll-out of a new corporate identity.
